Kiko Network was founded on April 19th, 1998. We have engaged in activities to prevent climate change and to improve our understanding of the increasingly complicated international climate change negotiations. At the same time, we have also worked to strengthen our network and to expand citizen's activities.
As we started publishing newsletters and handouts, holding seminars and symposia, and conducting investigations and research, we achieved to act as a center of a domestic network organization. We confirmed awareness spreading in citizen level about the need to prevent climate change for the purpose of making good use of the core meaning and the ideals of the Kyoto Protocol.
