Background COP27 reached historical agreement to provide “loss and damage” funding for vulnerable countries hit hard by climate disasters. This webinar will review results of COP27 and what they mean for Japan. Because loss & damage is not a well-known topic in Japan, in this webinar we will invite local voices from impacted regions to discuss loss & damage in their region, and introduce local activities/actions that are being done in response.
